Colin You Home
I LOVE to experience sound in all its wonderful forms. I hope through this music that we may continue to make our world a better place for the current generation AND equally important, the future generations. Sound is a powerful tool. I am learning it.

Searra Jade
Through her expressive lyricism and broadly scoped musicality Searra Gisondo has used music as a means of digesting the world from a young age. Her musical journey began as a child with classical piano lessons, and she has since sought to study and incorporate a diverse array of genres such as folk, bossa-nova, jazz, blues and even Indian music. Searra's diverse musical tastes and talents are held together by her versatile voice, creative guitar (as well as ukulele, banjo and sitar) parts that often utilize open tunings, harmonics, and warm jazzy chords.
A native of New York, Searra transplanted herself into Western North Carolina, and has found her soul's home and greatest inspiration in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Her songs communicate the inner workings of her thoughtful heart, dealing with themes of ecological morality, personal philosophy, and the terrifyingly transformative power of love. Music is a filter through which Searra can absorb life and expose ideas in a variety of ways; through her ephemeral folksy darkness that feels like a new wave Joni Mitchell, to her zany light-hearted tunes about composting and being a nut. Searra's music is as entertaining as it is complex, and unapologeticly honest.

I,Star
I,Star is the collaborative project of husband-wife duo, singer/songwriter Aradhana Silvermoon and MC/poet Truth-I Manifest. Encompassing a core fusion of Truth-I’s potent lyrical flow and Aradhana’s angelic melodies, their performances are a dynamic interplay of these respective masculine and feminine elements, as hard-hitting poetics weave between evocative refrains, building to harmonies in the hooks. I,Star’s “folk-hop” carriage bears powerful and relevant messages of personal and global spiritual transformation, stewardship of the Earth, social justice, and visionary love. With accompaniment ranging from simplicity in Aradhana’s acoustic guitar to complexity with a full band, and high danceability with a live DJ, I,Star inspires listeners to groove deeply, and journey into their rich imagery. Displaying wide, genre-crossing versatility with influences of world, reggae, blues, rock, and electronic styles to accent their folk-hop essence, I,Star’s music has broad appeal to lovers of many flavors.
Currently based in Asheville, NC, and formerly, Los Angeles, CA, Aradhana and Truth-I released their first I,Star record, Music and the Mood, in May 2011, the result of a six-month “honeymoon.” following their musical wedding in October 2010. From beginning to end, the record transports listeners into realms ranging from the magical to the insightful to the romantic to the autobiographical, upon stellar musicianship and stylistic variety. In May 2012, I,Star released a stripped down mix of their debut, Music and the Mood - Acoustic. They are currently working on their second album.
With over fifteen years each of performing at festivals, colleges, clubs, yoga studios, tearooms, and coffeehouses, Aradhana and Truth-I have had the opportunity to appear alongside a wide range of talented artists, including Michael Franti, Blackalicious, Nahko and Medicine for the People, Donna Delory, Rising Appalachia, The Polish Ambassador, Leon Mobley and Da Lion, and Lynx, as well as internationally touring conscious hip-hop band, Luminaries, with whom they performed from 2006 to 2009. In 2008, their music video “Peace” with Luminaries, debuted at the Nokia Theatre during the Elevate Film Festival to broad acclaim. From 2009-2011, I,Star held a musical residency at the world-renowned Ashram Health Retreat in Calabasas, CA, playing intimate fireside acoustic sets for many of America’s leaders in business, entertainment, and politics. Sharing their uplifting musical transmission for groups of people in the midst of transformational retreat experiences was deeply humbling and greatly contributed to their ability to create connection with their audiences.
After scaling back their touring over the last two and a half years to relocate to Asheville and start their family, I,Star has gradually reemerged in 2014 with scheduled festival appearances around the Southeast this summer and fall, their 1-year old daughter Perseia in close proximity to the music.
