Make it Happen - Gender Equality
"Once the hope of a few, now the call of many, equality for women and girls is regarded as the single most positive influence on human progress."
All around the world, International Women's Day represents an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of women while calling for greater equality.
The evening will feature social justice guest speakers including Dr Linda Chalmers MA PhD and Michelle Crawford G.Dip Adult Ed B.Bus M SocSc.
Launched by Leanne Enoch MP Minister for Housing, Public Works, Science, Innovation and the Arts Nunukul/Nughi Woman from North Stradbroke Island.
Tickets are $50 per person and includes a two course dinner, entertainment, raffles.
