Medea Rising was founded 2007 as a 5 piece band in Thüringen/Germany. The music combines various styles caused by different influences of the bandmembers. In the songs you find typical deathmetal shreds, brutal hardcore breakdowns but also melodic clean parts and catchy tunes merged with a huge range of extreme vocals.

In 2008 Medea Rising released a self-titled 4-track Promo-EP and after 2 years of hard work the band released their very diversified debut full lenght album "We Were Never Meant To Be" in September 2010, which is sold exclusively at shows and online stores such as itunes etc., but the band is still searching for a label. With their massive live energy the band played over 80 shows in Germany with bands like Born From Pain, Callejon, Misery speaks, For The Fallen Dreams, WFAHM, Awaken Demons just to mention a few. In winter 2010 the band was forced to split up with leadsinger Franz, who decided to take his chance making his graduates at a foreign university. The band Steve new members on mic, who pushed Medea to the next level.

Whose Blood Is In My Microwave was founded in summer 2011. This band includes lots of different influences. so there is not really a genre you can put it into. Some of their songs sound like brutal Deathcore and Beatdown, but there are also Hardcore parts included. In October 2011 they released there first record called "WBIIMM - Demo". Finally in year 2013 the band played many shows and shared the stage with well-known bands like Unearth, Nasty, Emmure, Thy Art Is Murder, The Green River Burial, Medea Rising and Blood For Betrayal. In summer 2013 they started recording their first 5-track-EP titled "The Disease Of Humanity". It was released 11th of January 2014. In April Whose Blood Is In My Microwave started their first big tour with Medea Rising. At the end of the tour Udo passed the band and Basti, who also plays the guitar in Drown The Wrong, become the new guitarist.

I Watched Myself Sleep steht für geladenen und brutalen Deathcore aus Sachsen.
Über schnelle Blastbeats und flotte Gitarrenriffs bis hin zu brachialen Breakdowns und energiegeladenen Solis reicht die Palette auf jeden Fall sehr weit und konnte bis jetzt eine große Bandbreite an metal- und hardcorebegeisterten Zuhörern beeindrucken.
Seit August 2013 ist die junge Band aus dem Erzgebirge in aktueller Besetzung dabei ihre Musik mit anderen zu teilen. Schon Ende 2012 bis Mitte 2013 spielte die Band ihre ersten Shows, jedoch nicht in voller und fester Besetzung.
Über kleine Proben im Keller mit zwei bis drei Leuten bis hin zur vollen Besetzung und strukturiertem Aufbau von neuen Songs hat sich die Band bis heute formatiert.
