What is Flamenx?
"'Flamenco with a nouveau twist' is how I would describe it - a fusion of a number of genres including flamanco, tango, rumba, jazz etc, with a touch of rock" says Deck Acoustic favourite Jerome Williams.

This duo has taken inspiration from Rodrigo y Gabriella who are a popular duo from Mexico.

When you combine the incredible instrumental knowledge of Jerome Williams and Oskar together you have an almost divine blend of musical minds. Both have been writing together for almost 10 years now and it shows as they weave their magic around notes that one would never think even existed!

Oskar is one of Northern Rivers if not Australia's most talented up and coming young bass players. His style has been likened to that of Jaco Pastorious and Tosen Abasi . His knowledge of bass guitar is extraordinary. This guy has a huge artistic future ahead of him both here and overseas.
