Join us in packing out the Park Theatre for the Rent Party and showing your support for the local jazz scene. Come for the exciting stage performances by both students and professionals, and soak up the spirited social time in the lobby, checking out the rainbow auction, enjoying the musical repartee of various small ensembles, and see what other fun surprises we have in store!
Pre-show fun in the lobby starts at 6:30 and the show starts at 8:00 with music by Papa Mambo with sets by student and faculty ensembles from the U of M.
A rent party pays the proverbial landlord, so not only will you experience the best jazz this city has to offer, you’ll also be supporting dig! magazine as it continues to share the news—for free—in the Jazz Capital of Canada.
