ABOUT THE MOVIE:

This feature length documentary from Director Greg Hall follows legendary north London rapper Chester P as he attempts to re-politicise his hip hop fan base by selling t-shirts to buy sleeping bags for the homeless which he will distribute over winter.

Along the journey he meets activists at the forefront of fighting the housing crisis which includes the Focus E15 Mums who squat and re-open the Carpenters Estate in Stratford and the Love Activists who are attacked by the police for feeding the homeless.

It is also a journey of self-discovery as Chester reflects on years of drug abuse having finally gone clean, while exploring the topics of Hip Hop, Homelessness & the Housing Crisis.

Doors Open 6:30pm. Film Screens 7:15pm.

Duration: 75 minutes

This is a Preview Screening before the film's online release and we are asking for donations of £3 which will all go to buy essentials for the homeless!
