There is no experience in the world like watching a band perform live. Watching live music being brings excitement and vibrancy, and an atmosphere that cannot be matched. Every performer brings something different to their live show. Take for example, the classic Aussie pub rock band Cold Chisel.

These guys knew how to put on a show for their specific audience, the working class Australians. Everything from their lyrics, style and demeanour pioneered a concert experience like no other.

The band were known for their Aussie pub rock style of music, and was among the first of its kind to develop. This classic home grown music genre was popularised by the success of Cold Chisel, along with the likes of ACDC and Midnight Oil. It is hardly surprising that as a result, Cold Chisel’s music has remained a favourite among Australian rock fans and is still achieving success today.

Their concert experience followed in a true representation of their music. The relaxed, natural, working class background of all members of the band was something that the audience could easily relate to. The band always guaranteed their audience a good night and escape from working life, with good music and plenty of excitement.

It is this kind of atmosphere that we are aiming to recreate here at the club with a performance by tribute band Chisel Revived. The talented performers that make up this band are dedicated to providing a night as entertaining as the real deal.

You can sing and dance along as the band covers Cold Chisels greatest hits, with the energetic stage presence that they’re known for. The atmosphere will be buzzing with excitement, and in true Cold Chisels fashion, the night will provide the perfect escape from working life for a couple of hours.

Chisel Revived will be coming to the stage in our Legends Lounge on Friday August 26. DJ Luke will start the night off from 7pm with the band to follow.
