The 2014 State of Origin Game 2 clash was a nail-biter for fans on both sides of the border. With the Blues looking to take the series for the first time since 2005 and the Maroons looking to force a decider in their home state, this was always going to be a massive match. With the Sydney crowd roaring, both teams came out swinging in a first half which was more about physical domination than football. The second half saw the game open with more ball movement, allowing the Blues to eventually cross for the only try of the match. NSW held on to their lead, clinching their first series win in 9 years and finally ending the Maroons Dynasty. Game 2 of the 2015 series is scheduled to be held at the MCG, Melbourne (the first time an Origin game has been played at the G since 1997!)
