Four years ago we started a midweek night called Deadbolt, with the intention of being the night we always wanted to go to. Interactive, guests and caring about our audience were the key components, later adding live bands and huge giveaways in the mix which lead to us moving to Fridays and becoming the number 1 alternative party experience in the city. So...let's celebrate.

This time around we are throwing a THREE FLOOR bash with the biggest bill the alternative scene in Manchester has ever seen and it’s going to raise the bar… This is what we have planned :

The night that started it all, Deadbolt launched in February 2011 and quickly became the night for the people and the night which pushed the boundaries in what was a very stale scene.

We are beyond excited to bring you an exclusive DJ set from Tek-One down in iLLmatic, who headlines this room on our very special birthday bash.

GRAND THEFT AUDIO SHOWCASE

Manchester-based DnB label GTA will be showcasing their DJs and MCs in what will be absolute chaos. Prepare for a takeover as Echidna and Nothing to Lose amongst others are about to tear the roof off.

3 WAY HIP HOP DJ BATTLE : ILLMATIC VS LEAN BACK VS TASTE THE DIFFERENCE

Manchester is blessed with Hip Hop brands and nights, so we thought we would bring together 3 nights for a soundclash, YOU pick the winner after each night throws in a 3 minute mix. Once the klaxon goes off, that’s it - your decision!

This event marks the first time Deadbolt has ever been on three floors, and what a way to start. Deadbolt DJs will be spinning the best party music, from fist pumping rock anthems all the way to power ballads, taking in some cheese along the way. This is the drunken regret.

LIVE MUSIC FROM LOCK & KEY // BEARING LOSS

We like to change the format of what you’re used to, so at DBIV you will get 2 live sets from our buddies in fast-rising UK acts and stars of our first festival last August, Lock & Key as well as Cheshire Hardcore act Bearing Loss. There will be mosh.

PARTY GAMES

The usual DB games will be taking place in the loft, but down here we do things differently. Giant Jenga, Twister…more to be announced. The best damn birthday party you’ve ever been to.
