About Echonomist

Born in Thessaloniki in 1979, Petros Manganaris is considered as one of the most promising talents of Greece's contemporary electronic music scene. With production work spanning many and diverse musical styles through his numerous releases at labels such as Defected Records, Rotary Cocktail, Back And Forth, Upon You, and Apparel music to name a few. Petros is famous for his groovy dj sets which incorporate the whole dance spectrum, from deep house to minimal techno, while his stunning and energetic live performances with his laptop and elaborate set-up are always received with excitement, expertly combining atmospheric rhythms with experimental and complex musical programming and pumping, crisp beats.

About JC ( John Chouliaras ):

John Chouliaras (aka JC) started spinning professionally at the age of 18. Addicted to vinyl, he first followed progressive music paths, up until 2007 when his passion shifted towards different musical vibes and vibrations, such as deep dirty and groovy house.

During his first steps as a DJ, he joined the El Pecado Family where he explored different kinds of musical styles and genres expanding from Tango to Funk and Disco to Soul.

After spinning for 5 years in Athens and Mykonos island, JC took his musical views and perspectives a step further, reforming and alerting his spirit towards deeper musical quality and directions.

Detroit, Chicago and later Berlin offered him the perfect opportunity and finally the connection for a new creative and apprehensive journey in relation to himself and the people's musical awareness, through the scope of deep house; whether exploring the universe or one's self, the known or the unknown. Real house is a feeling and not a physical reaction, it simply runs in your veins.

He embodies emotional and physical, spiritual and sexual and to a certain extent religious music, in other words real deep house.

In the past 10 years JC has performed all over Greece and collaborated with a great amount of foreign DJs and producers such as Ms Lefki, Nick Varon, Russ Yalop, Echonomist, Jojo, Duke, Dj Angelo, Johnny B JR, Dim Pap, George Kyriakou, Hot Toddy, Manolako, Elias Tzikas, Akylla, Poka and many more.

In year 2012, his own project "Music is not a contest" finally came to life and first saw its success at Comeback club in Paros. The rewards were immense.

A year later "Music is not a contest" grew even bigger, having his close friend and colleague Vasilis Kontis aka Trixx joining as a partner.

Both JC and Trixx became members of Nuestra Musica Records, and got residencies in Athens most well known venues Pixi and Dybbuk, as well as Monroe in Thessaloniki.

2014 finds JC on air, having a weekly broadcast on join radio.gr.

About Arche(Archelaos Chryssanthopoulos):

Archelaos Chryssanthopoulos aka Arche was born in Athens in September 13, 1987. He found his love for electronic music at the age of 16.

1st official steps in music began in 2009 in Cabaret ( Kolonaki )
After that more events were held :
