BerMuDa = Berlin Music Days, a yearly festival in which a large number of Berlin clubs participate and Tresor is this year fully in festival gear. Rotterdam, Holland is the home of Clone Records, a long-running techno label with an array of international artists that is dizzying in its scope. Tonight they take over the Globus Floor: Dave Huismans aka A Made Up Sound is a producer from The Hague, Netherlands. His output as 2652 is generally described as dubstep and tonight he will definitely have surprises under his fingertips. Alden Tyrell’s electro/disco-infused house mixes are set to thrill; Dexter is a DJ and producer, and co-founder of Klakson; and of course Serge, the owner and founder of Clone records with his healthy disregard for fads and trends. Since the early 90s he has been one of the influential Dutch underground DJ’s and is well known for his versatile sets and the shit hot records he is playing. Downstairs we make room for the return of our friend and techno legend Juan Atkins. In the Tresor family since the inception of the club and label, his influence on modern electronic club music is simply immeasurable, the epitome of the term “pioneer. Don’t miss this opportunity to catch his set tonight – a true techno hero. Support is by the fresh and innovative young member of the Tresor Records family Marcelus.
