So we're going to roll the dice on tomorrow's forecast and try to pick up where we left off with Sunday Service last year. With a 1.45pm high tide we're planning to meet at Chalkwell Beach around 12.30pm (on Good Friday 25th March) for a 12.45pm launch and paddle into a (hopefully!) gentle cross-headwind to Old Leigh and onwards around Two Tree Island – 10km in all. We're hoping conditions should be pretty good, but as we're counting on a break in the weather this one's really for stronger paddlers ... and dressed appropriately too as that water's still chilly! If anyone wants to join in for just the 6km loop of Two Tree, we should be passing Bell Wharf in Old Leigh about 1.10pm... And even if you can't make the paddle, a few of us will be hanging out at the Broker in Leigh from about 8pm, so come join us for some start of season beers... Happy Easter!
